These are the words Beverly
Hanstrom, president of Colorado Medical Waste, Inc., used to describe the ozone
utilized in her company's state of the art waste processing facility in Aurora,
Colorado. The facility will be only the third of its kind in the United
States that uses ozone to completely sterilize contaminated medical waste
before grinding it up and incinerating it, leaving zero matter for landfills.
"I'm
trying to do something really good and worthwhile for the quality of life all
over Colorado," [Hanstrom] said. "It will truly change everything
once it picks up."
